Team Members
Team members are the people in your organisation who interact with Sprigr Teams. This guide covers inviting new members, assigning roles, and managing access to your workspace.
Inviting team members
Section titled “Inviting team members”-
Navigate to the Members page
Sign in to team.sprigr.com and click Members in the sidebar.
-
Click “Invite Member”
Click the Invite Member button at the top of the page.
-
Enter their name and email address
Type the person’s name and email address. Invitations are sent one at a time.
-
Select a role
Choose Member, Manager, or Admin (see the Roles section below). The role determines what the person can access and modify in the workspace. You cannot invite someone directly as an Owner — ownership is granted only through the transfer ownership flow.
-
Send the invitation
Click Send Invite. The person receives an email invitation with a link to the portal and can sign in once they accept it.
Sprigr Teams has four roles, each with a different level of access:
Every workspace has exactly one canonical Owner — the person who created the workspace is assigned this role automatically. The Owner has full control and is the only role that can:
- Access billing, plans, and payment settings
- Modify organisation settings (company name and Company Directives)
- Activate and deactivate the emergency stop (kill switch)
- Transfer ownership to another team member
In addition, the Owner can do everything an Admin can do.
The Owner cannot be removed from the workspace, and their role cannot be changed by anyone else. To hand over the workspace, use Transfer ownership (see below).
Admins can manage most of the workspace. Admins can:
- Create, edit, and delete agents
- Manage integrations, workflows, and webhooks
- Invite and remove team members
- Change the role of any non-Owner member
- Chat with agents, view knowledge bases, and view workflows and execution history
Admins cannot:
- Access billing and payment settings
- Access organisation settings
- Promote anyone to Owner, or change or remove the Owner
Manager
Section titled “Manager”Managers work with the specific agents they have been assigned to. Managers can:
- Create and edit agents they are assigned to
- Manage agent-scoped integrations for their assigned agents
- Work with workflows that involve their assigned agents
- Chat with their accessible agents and view knowledge bases
Managers cannot:
- Create company-wide integrations
- Invite or remove team members, or change roles
- Access billing or organisation settings
Member
Section titled “Member”Members can use the workspace but cannot change its configuration. Members can:
- Chat with agents through their personal companion agent
- View knowledge bases
Members cannot:
- Create, edit, or delete other agents
- Manage integrations, workflows, or webhooks
- Invite or remove team members
- Access billing or organisation settings
Changing a member’s role
Section titled “Changing a member’s role”To change someone’s role:
- Go to the Members page
- Find the team member in the list
- Click Edit Role next to their name
- Select the new role (Member, Manager, or Admin) and click Save
Role changes take effect immediately. The team member does not need to sign out and back in.
Transferring ownership
Section titled “Transferring ownership”The canonical Owner can hand the workspace over to another team member. On the Members page, the Owner sees a Transfer ownership action on every other member’s row.
-
Click “Transfer ownership” on the row of the person who should become the new Owner.
-
Confirm by typing their email address
The confirmation dialog requires you to type the new Owner’s email address exactly before the transfer button is enabled.
-
Transfer
The selected person becomes the Owner and you become an Admin. System notifications and the Owner’s companion agent re-route to the new Owner immediately, and billing moves in the same transaction.
Removing a member
Section titled “Removing a member”To remove someone from your workspace:
- Go to the Members page
- Find the team member in the list
- Click Remove next to their name
- Confirm the removal in the dialog
The person immediately loses access to the workspace: they can no longer sign in, their active sessions are revoked, and their companion agent is deprovisioned. The Owner cannot be removed.
Belonging to more than one organisation
Section titled “Belonging to more than one organisation”One person can be a member of several Sprigr Teams organisations under the same sign-in. Each organisation is separate: your role, agents, and data in one do not carry over to another.
When you sign in and belong to more than one organisation, Sprigr shows a Choose an organisation screen so you can pick which one to open. If you belong to only one, it opens straight into it.
Once you are in, you can switch organisations at any time from the workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar. Click it to see every organisation you belong to and select another; the portal reloads into the organisation you picked. Sprigr remembers your last choice, so your next sign-in skips the picker and lands you back in that organisation. When you belong to only one organisation, the switcher shows its name as a plain label with nothing to switch to.
Next steps
Section titled “Next steps”- Organisation Settings — Configure workspace-wide settings including Company Directives and the emergency kill switch.
