Shopify
The Shopify integration connects your e-commerce store to Sprigr Teams. Agents can work with orders, fulfillments, inventory, and related store data, which is useful for order operations, customer support, and fulfillment workflows.

Section titled “Prerequisites”- An active Shopify store.
- Admin or Owner role in your Sprigr Teams organisation to install the app (when installing from within Sprigr).
Two ways to connect
Section titled “Two ways to connect”Shopify supports two install directions.

Verify the installation
Once installed and connected, the Shopify app appears in your installed apps and its tools become available to your agents.
Install from Shopify (provider-initiated)
Section titled “Install from Shopify (provider-initiated)”A merchant can also start from Shopify and land in Sprigr Teams. After granting consent on the Shopify side, the merchant is brought back to Sprigr to finish connecting. What happens next depends on whether they already have a workspace:
- Existing Sprigr user with a workspace — They confirm which workspace to attach the store to, and the connection is finalised there.
- Existing Sprigr user with no workspace, or brand-new merchant — After signing in (or signing up), Sprigr auto-provisions a new workspace named after the shop, attaches the Shopify connection, and drops the merchant straight into agent chat. This is the zero-to-one onboarding path for merchants arriving from Shopify.
What agents can do
Section titled “What agents can do”Once the Shopify app is installed and connected, agents gain tools covering the core areas of the store. Because the app is self-contained and its tool surface is defined by the installed version, the exact set of tools is determined by the app rather than the platform. At a category level, agents can work with:
- Orders — Look up and list orders and their line items, status, and customer details.
- Fulfillments — Create fulfillments to mark orders as shipped and move fulfillment through its stages.
- Inventory — Read and adjust inventory levels for products.
- Draft orders — Create draft orders, for example to quote a sale or take an order on a customer’s behalf.
The precise tool names and parameters come from the installed Shopify app. Ask your agent what it can do with Shopify, or check the app’s tools in the Apps section, to see exactly which tools are available in your workspace.
Common use cases
Section titled “Common use cases”- Order status lookups — A customer asks where their order is. The agent looks up the order and reports its status and fulfillment progress.
- Fulfillment automation — A workflow marks orders as fulfilled once they ship, keeping the store in sync with the warehouse.
- Inventory checks and adjustments — The agent checks stock on a product and adjusts levels when needed.
- Taking an order — The agent creates a draft order for a phone or chat customer, ready for the merchant to finalise.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”“Unauthorised” errors The Shopify OAuth token may have expired or the connection may have been revoked in Shopify. Reconnect the Shopify app from the Apps section.
Tools not appearing Confirm the Shopify app is installed and connected in the Apps section, and that it is assigned to the agent you are using.
Store data missing The app can only see data the connected store account has permission to access. Confirm the connection was authorised with sufficient scopes for the orders, fulfillments, or inventory you expect to work with.
